I bought one off the net that is a little different than my other .358 I got it cheap as the guy had bead blasted it and matt finished the steel also he removed the finish and it has a blond finish like some of the old Bar's. It has a browning recoil pad with a white line spacer, The box is very old saying this model 81 replaces the former blr. it looks like it was distributed in Monteral, Canada The serial no. is 13247px227. As far as I can tell it's been shot very little, rifling is sharp, smooth action, good crown and no pitting anywhere. It has a steel reciever and flat clip just like my .358 but you can tell it is an older rifle. Any info appreciated.
