help with my cz 17 hmr

Well I went out and bought a CZ varmint American 452 in 17 hmr.  Problem is this thing has the single worst trigger I have ever received from a factory. The add stated adjustable trigger or single set trigger.  Being some what familiar with triggers I choose the adjustable trigger.  What I learned really really quick is, the only adjustment is in the pounds of pull.  You can not adjust for length of pull,over travel or any thing else.  If I knew what i know now I would have bought the set trigger.  i did not.   

That being said there is two fixes, first the Timmy trigger at $90.  Or this company I believe is called Accurate Innovations or something like that for $66.  Has anyone used either and what did you think.

I don't want to get rid of it, with the horrible trigger it still holds about 1 1/4 inch groups @100yrds and I am getting a 5 inch group at 200 yards.  That is because of the scope I am using as well.  With a good trigger I will cut both in Half I am sure of it.  Just took care of the scope problem as well.

I haven't tried any of the two replacement triggers that you listed, but did buy one Brook's trigger kit that I have split between the two .17HM2 452s that I have (I really bought it for just the American but then broke down and bought a Varmint later, which I used the 'spares' on).  While I can't tell you exactly what trigger pull weight they are at, I can say that the pull is crisper and lighter than it was.  I use these for my squirrel rifles, so I didn't want a super light trigger pull - so they are just right for me.

I put the Automations Solutions adjustable sear in mine, tried the Brookie kit first, but the spacer wouldn't work on my 452 American, so I just used one of the springs along with the AS sear, makes a very nice trigger.

I've used the Brooks kit in a couple of 452's and it's worked well in both.  For the $15 or so and the half hour to set it up it's worth a try to start with.
