I bought a pound of it last year to try. I had always used Pyrodex but was looking for something a little easier to clean up after shooting. I read some reviews on the Internet and because of the coarseness of the pinnacle, they suggested weighing the charges. Since I am a reloader and had a scale that is what I did. I poured 100grs into a measure, poured it onto my scale and recorded the weight. (I don't have the numbers handy right now), I went to the drug store camera department and they gave me a sackful of clear 35mm film cannisters. I measured out about 30 loads and went to the firing range.

I was shooting a cheap CVA Magbolt with a 3X9 Millett scope. I used Scorpion bullets with harvester Sabots and 209 for ignition.

I shot about ten shots without wiping between shots and the sabots all went in smoothly with no problem. To adjust my scope and test accuracy I started doing my usual one swipe with a spit damp patch after every shot. The patch would come  out basically clean with a little white residue on it.

I shot all 30 loads I had with me and got 2" groups for three shots at 100 which was good for a cheap rifle and old eyes.

When I got home I used cold water, patches and a little no ammonia Windex and I don't think the Windex was really needed. I did not miss all that black grime that is normally everywhere when using Pyrodex of BP.

I was pretty pleased overall and shot it a couple of more times during our week long deer season but unfortunately not at a deer.

Good Luck
