Atta Girl
« on: July 23, 2007, 11:36:47 AM »
Don't know if this is the right place to put this but here goes.

Shotgun preteen vs.. illegal alien Home Invaders

NRA files Butte Montana

November 5, 2006

Home invasion gone wrong for criminals.

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez 23 and Enrico Garza 26, probably  believed they would easily overpower a home alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things, they were in  Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine. Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's
room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blan k blast of buck shot from the 11 year olds knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast
to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. The victim, 50 year old David Burien, was not so lucky as he died from stab wounds to the chest.

Had this happened in CA, the ACLU would be out in force suing the 11 year old girl.

Nice Shootin', Patricia!  :)

This story has been making the rounds for a while...  It appears to be a hoax.

The dead giveaway was that she was allegedly using a Moss.  If the story had been true it would have hung up after the first shot and she'd have been left with a $150 club!

Seriously though, it was just a bit too perfect wasn't it?  Imagine if an NRA spokesman wanted to write a story from scratch... wouldn't this be it?  Illegals vs an 11 year old girl?

Well, I don'l live in CA but I have a 14 yr old daughter that has her Rem 1100, 20 ga ready when she is home alone.   She knows to dial 911 when someone is rattling the doors or windows but I told her to take no chances if they break in.  I told her to treat them like she does the big gobblers.   I pity the person that breaks in, because they will get a turkey load in the face.  It would be tramatic for a young person to have to shoot someone but the alternative could be worse.  Like the Doctor's wife and two daughters last week.

Dukkillr, don't know what the problem is with your "Mossy",  but my 500 digests anything I put in it without a hitch.  Maybe you should have a qualified gunsmith take a look at yours if it hangs up as you say.

p.s.; Uncle Sam has bought plenty of 500s over the years.
