If you want to use factory ammo, my buddies 535 shot well with the Remington Nitro (I think) #4 turkey loads.  It would put 15-20 in the kill zone of a Shoot-N-C turkey head target at 50 yards, with an Undertaker and the factory choke.

well it was too windy to shoot rifles or pattern the shotgun, but at 25 yards with my handloads it ripped a prickly pear cactus out of the ground.

Be sure and let us know how it patterns.  I'm thinking about getting the 500 Grand Slam Turkey as well.

it holds pretty tight, but i havnt officially patterned it yet.  I have shot a few things with it, glass bottles and other stuff at the dump.  it had broke bottles with ease at 50 steps.  i didnt walk out any farther so i dont know about anything further out.

And how was the recoil on that light little cannon?  Pretty rough?  Did you shoot 2.75" or 3"?

Thanks.

i shoot my 2 3/4 handloads and it kicks hard.  I was used to shooting them out of a charles daly maxi mag with a ported 28 in barrell and it was a kitten.  The little mossy kicks wayyyyy harder than it did so i try not to shoot it more than two or three at a time
