Ok, what 3 pistol calibers would you use for hunting and self defense?

I've never owned a pistol that required a battery but I do have a revolver with laser grips and the grips do require a battery.  ;D

I refuse to be limited but probably could live with .40 S&W, .44 Magnum and .22LR but see absolutely no reason to limit myself so I don't.

I'd have to go with .357, 7mm Bower, and of course .22LR

.22, 45 ACP and my 460 Mag. I think that would cover all my hunting and defense needs.

My 3 are .22LR,.357Mag, and .44Mag.
I also own some others, but these cover my uses.
Wish I had the eyes and the ears of 30 years ago back again.  I'm losing my interest in handgun shooting with open sights as I can't see them like I used to, and I have to use so many gimmicks to shoot that it takes away from the intent and practical use of this type of firearm.

.22, .357, and .44 Mag.  That should pretty well cover everything on the North American Continent.

.22lr for plinking and small game
.38/375 for self defence (would feel just as secure with .40 SW or 45 ACP)
.44 mag. larger game

Yes.....I guess I didn't answer the question as it was asked.......but like you, it's hard to just pick three.....

Seems powderman has the same problem!!!!

Anyway......if your counting in octal, or hexadecimal.....then zero is the starting point.......

so.....choice 0....22lr......choice 1 357.....choice 2.....44 and choice 3.....45acp.......

Some spin I put on that huh? ;D ;D ;D

Does my Contender frame and the 31 different barrels count as one gun?

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Yea.....I guess I owe you an apology......but hey......I was lonely..... :)

It's not new math, just a different numbering system.......You'll have to think outside the box.........

and besides........being called out by the "big dog" required some sort of an explanation........and if you stretch it a little it's believable :o :o :o
