marlin owners only down ??? is this site protected well enough ?

I have tried to check out marlin owners only a couple of times.. has it gone the way of the sixguns forum.. is it hacker attackers or is it something else.
Is this great site protected well enough

MO has been down since yesterday or earlier, they go down a lot, probably cuz Larry doesn't oversee it all the time and isn't quick to get it back up, the software he uses is what GBO used to run, we were hacked too often, but Matt has confidence that the SMF software we're running on now is much better, so far he's been right on.

And hopefully in the next couple of weeks we'll move to the new servers with additional software upgrades. I spoke to Matt tonight and the replacement server for the one that was damaged in transit to us is on the way and should arrive this coming week. As soon as he has time to load the software onto it and burn it in to make sure all is OK we'll pack them off to Texas to be hooked into the racks of our hosts and shortly thereafter we'll be moved to them and things should get a LOT better.

Thanks to the donations we've received so far and the Google income from last month and this month we'll have just about enough cash to cover the hook up of the servers without having to resort to charging them on credit as we did to buy them. This is a huge chunk of change for a retired old fart like me. But all should be better once we have them in place and then we'll have the capacity to offer a LOT of things we can't now.

What things? Dunno just yet but Matt says we'll be offering members discounted rates on VOIP, some special priviliges for those who've donated to the server fund and the ability to host over 1000 websites the site of GBO should anyone want to be hosted by us. The new servers (we've bought two of them) are each equal to more than ten of the current ones we're on combined I think Matt said. These current ones have outdated software and we can't change it but since we'll own the new servers we can put anything we want on them.

But to answer the initial question yeah we're a LOT better protected than MO is. That software they are using is really vulnerable as we found out the hard way.

I have given up trying to get registered on that site.  The page they sent me won't work and I can't get them to answer my inquires on how to get it to work.  Yet when I look at the list of members my name is listed?
