Used M1A
« on: July 14, 2007, 02:21:08 AM »
What's a good price for a used M1A in good condition? I'm sure a lot of you guys are current on prices for this rifle. I'm talking the standard rifle here, not a SOCOM/Scout Squad or the like.

Looks like a strikeout. I thought for sure they'd be some M1A fans on this forum!

I really haven't looked or seen any lately, but from what I recall $1200-1500 seems about right.

A co-worker of mine who was in the Army back in the 50's can't believe the prices on Garands and especially M1A's.  He always tells me that back then, "they were giving them away!"    ;D

Used ones are rare in my experience. I bought a new one last year for 1200 bucks. Used ones probably have a very high resale value.
