Question about barrel fittting process
« on: August 01, 2007, 02:29:40 PM »
I was wondering if I could call in to NEF and check on the status of my barrel I am having fitted. This coming Monday will be one month they have had and I would like to check up on it and make sure everything is alright.  THANKS

If you take the 2 week vacation shutdown off that time, it's great turn around time!! ;)

Maybe one of the cleanup crew, that stayed during the vacation period, tried his hand at smithing...

Probably the last one fit while Security was wating to lock the door and the Smith was wanting to catch his flight.  Larry

While I got the 308 today HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY! My friend drives the UPS truck and he comes by work almost everyday I had a feeling I was going to get it but of course he had nothing for the shop today and did not stop. I called when I got off work to see where he was and found him in town and picked it from him. You know you got it bad when you chase the UPS down to get your Handi ;D ;D I got to get me some rings and a scope. I think I am going to try out the 150gr Core-lokt first. This rifle will be for my wife to deer hunt with. I will let ya'll know how it does when this heat wave dies down a little ( been 100+ just about everyday).
