Value of Mak 91
« on: August 02, 2007, 03:58:26 PM »
I just came into the family a Norinco National Match Milled reciever Mak91 with 6 30 round mags and 2 10 round mags also 300 rounds of 7.62 x 39 ammo. My question is what is the value of this rifle? This rifle is in excel- shape. I gave 400.00 for the whole match. I got it to go along with my russian sks whicis also mint.
Thanks for any advice or answer.

Dave:  I think you probably did alright.  Milled receiver Maks are of better quality than the stamped rifles and usually go for around $400+ in my neck of the woods - plus all the extras - you done good I think.  Mikey.

I think they at one time had more than 100 factories but not all of them assembled rifles. They used the system of little parts made here there and and assembled in five of six major factories.Kinda like the British used in WWII for their "peddled scheme" rifles.
