22 rimfire barrel for an Encore ?

I have 4 barrels for my TC Contender of which one is a 22 cal . Do they make one for an Encore pistol ? I looked on several sites and didn't see one listed anywhere . My son might purchase a 308 Encore and he would like the 22 barrel for some inexpensive shooting .

If I'm not mistaken, T/C is starting to make rimfire barrels for the Encore this year. Check out their website.

I had looked at the TC site before and came up empty . I found some on the Midway and MidSouth sites for about $250 each . A bit expensive !

I think that you will find that any  one of the custom rimfire  barrels for the Encore to be considerably more! UNLESS you can get one of those $200 pistol blanks made up into one at MGM.  I don't think that they have any rimfire bbls  left, though.....

If you click on the above link, and go to the bottom of that page, you will see the 15" Encore rimfire barrels. I didn't see a price, but in the catalog they sent me, the MSRP for a blued 15" non PH is around $295.  Stainless will probably run you $325.

No. 1691. Encore® 15" Stainless Pistol Barrel, with Sights; Drilled and Tapped for Scope Mounts. 17 HMR   $333.35

No. 1786. Encore® 15" Stainless Pistol Barrel, with Sights; Drilled and Tapped for Scope Mounts. 22 LR   $330.40

Keep in mind these are MSRP. You could probably find one for about $250 for the blued and $275 for the stainless

Right now MGM is having a sale on their custom barrels.  You can get a 14inch or shorter for $245.00 and they are quoting 4-6 week delivery.  I will be ordering a Encore 22lr Match this Friday
