To clarify, the hammer will not budge. I tried it with the barrel installed then disassembled the frame and it still will not move rearward.

I'm sure some of the senior members will reply, but if not, try calling T/C at "Customer Service: (603)-330-5659"  They were helpful when I called them.  Here's another tip, if you have to send the gun in, don't ship it in one box.  That would cost $$85 to $95 from Minnesota.  If you ship the frame in one box and the barrel in another box, it would cost $25 dollars total.  The reason being, in one box it's a firearm, in two boxes, it's parts.  This was my personal experience.  Isn't big government wonderful!

If you have recently done anything with the grip....The grip bolt might be too deep. Try to back it out and see if it helps.  If so, add another washer

I just switched frames and the problem went away. One frame worked with a T/C barrel and a Bullberry barrel and the other frame only worked with the T/C barrel. I guess the problem is fixed. I think it may be in how the Bullberry barrel is locking up and not engaging the hammer disconnect lever enough. I wonder if there is an adjustment somewhere on the barrel to make better contact????

I hate when that happens. When you get a minute take the barrel off the frame... grasp the grip in your right hand... look down over the top of the action... you should see a triangular piece of metal on the right side, as you look down there, that is against the right side... push that back with your left finger a bit... now cock the hammer... if it cocked there is nothing wrong with the gun... there are problems with the way the locking lug ears are missing that part... new locking lugs are cheap and easy to replace... I would call T/C and explain the situation. Probably won't cost you a dime.

swampthing,

so the problem would be with the barrel not the action, correct? I did move the lever last night with the frame disassembled and it cocked fine.

I guess it is due to a tighter headspace with Bullberry barrel which is a good thing for accuracy.
