newby questions

first off: thanx for all the usefull info. been shooting marlin levers all my life. now my son has got me interested in single shots. have a 270 survivor on the way. my question is can i change stocks? i fell in love with the thumb thru on a posting by quickdtoo for a leadsled. where can i get one? keep up the great work, guys

Welcome aboard!! All stocks are interchangeable, even with rimfires and shotguns, the only problem will be with 10ga shotgun and 12ga Slug gun barrels, they take a bigger forend. The only place I've seen the thumb-hole Ultras is RR Arms. One of our sponsors, www.gunstocksinc.com makes finish-it-yourself t-hole stocks and there was a dealer on Ebay selling the Boyd's stocks for a while.
