4.4 Grains Difference Between Powder and Bullet Manufactures

Looking at the Accurate #2 book, and comparing it to the Hornady 5th edition, I discoverd a huge difference.  4.4 grains to be exact.

The Accurate Book show 35.0 grains max for the 130 grain Hornady SSP bullet using AA2460.

The Hornady manual with the same bullet is listing 30.6 as max with AA2460.

This is in the 30-30 Handgun section.

I shot quite a few rounds today at 34 grains out of the 10" contender with an avg velocity of 1994.  No pressure signs.

The question...  What would you do?  Go with the Powder manufacture or the Bullet Manufacture?

You get more data from more sources. NEVER take data from just one. When you use 2 sources of data and they are very different you can't  tell if one or both are wrong. So go to a 3rd or 4th reliable source of data. By doing this you will discover that typos can get into a manual. Data also varies a lot also so you might wind up using the lightes load and work up as pressure signs permit.
