Great pictures!!

Now the real challenge.  How much do you think that bear weighed?  Would you consider that bear to be a shooter or a cub?  To me it looks like an adolescent bear, but I'm new to trying to judge a bear and it's size.

Who would pull the trigger on this bear and who would let him walk?  Just curious because I'll be bear hunting soon and I want to know what you all think.  To me it looks very young.

150 pounds max, probably less.  I might consider shooting him, but only 'cause I'm real desperate for a bear.  Haven't got one in 3 years.

It looks like his coat is in great shape.

My guess was going to be 120 to 150 lbs but fron 25 yrds away hunkered down by a garbage can he sure looked much bigger.I saw him in the dark pines behind a friends house while my wife and i were swimming in her inground pool.I grabbed my camera and headed him off at the pass where i figured he would take a logging road down the side of her property and cross the main road-guess i was right. This bear raided everyone's garbage all last summer in that area near Wilcox State Park.Oh ,and by the way -i'd probably shoot him ,especially if i was bowhunting.Just wish i had got sharper pictures but autofocus doesnt do well on black in situations like this.
