Pedersloli Rolling Block followed me home
« on: July 31, 2007, 02:38:03 PM »
For my first post on GBO I would like to announce that I picked up a used Pedersoli  Rolling Block marketed by Navy Arms from a local pawn shop.  As with everything else I buy I probably over paid for it, but just had to have it the moment it whispered take me home into my ear when I shouldered the rifle.  It is of the 45-70 Gov persuasion and has a 30 inch tapered octagon barrel with front tunnel sight and creedmore tang sight.  Blued barrel and case colored receiver with pistol grip. Will post pics when I get them.  Can not wait to get it to the range.  Waiting on some Laser Cast 405 gr bullets from Midway to load up before hitting the range.

Welcome to the forum. I bought a Navy Arms Rolling Block new a lot of years ago. It has the octagon barrel and Creedmore sight but has a straight stock. It is a little larger caliber, 50-140-550 Sharps. It gets your attention when you pull the trigger. They are nicely built rifles.

Welcome to Graybeard Outdoors WVShooter.

Have you had a chance to take the gun to the range?
