Can anyone give me first hand accounts of using either of these? How difficult are they to install. Any difference in quality between the two? Moderator: if this is not appropriate for optics, please move to correct location. Thanks,

A .308 that I bought had Conetrol mounts and rings on it. In all honesty, they are very elegant and I have had no problems with them. I have no idea how hard they were to mount.
All in all, I like mine very much.

I have both, and prefer Warne best. They really look sturdy
