All Tropico needs is MORE cannons!


Whats he got now, lets see there were 4 at the July shoot (some of those in the picture were Alan's), and he'd ordered 6 more, so he's got an ARMORY now!
I , on the other hand have a respectable 3

It is sure a cute little swivel too be sure ...,    But I got a few too many irons in the fire right now sort uh speak., We are actually working on a new swivel right now as well ., I hope to be able to test it and show it off a bit perhaps in the next month or 2 .., If this one puts my eye out..., I'll be needing more than an eye patch

Thanks for the link ex-49er, My, brother just moved to Boston and his girlfriend talked him into taking sailing lessons. Now he has the perfect excuse to buy a cannon! Tracy

Thanks Lance actually there was a 1 Brass and 1 cast iron Wild Imports Victory cannons 1.73 caliber.,   and a small swivel.,16" long 1" bore.   I will go back this weekend and will try to get a few photos.  Somewhere in my photos I have a 3 gun salute I will try to post it.

O.K., I thought that looked like a Ren fest, We Have one here in Bonner Springs , Kansas every fall. Fun for sure, Except last time I went. First thing I did when I got there was to get me a flagon of mead ( honey wine) on my first drink I got a nasty surprise, a bee had landed on my cup , and I inadvertently tried to drink it. Bees don't cotton to being drank. I got stung on the inside of my lower lip. NOT FUN, NOT FUN, NOT FUN. I Stuck it out there all afternoon though. We have some neat jousting events but have yet to see any cannons. The future  of the event is in question now because a bunch of Richy Rich developers  want to use the land.  Tracy

O.K. m223 here ya go a few cannons from the renn Fest ., After careful examination I believe this is one of Cannon-Mikes Swivels., it is 18" long. The carriage mount is the Wild Imports .
 
 
 
Pirates do indeed have fun.., here is a wayword pirate lost on her trek across the fest seeking direction.

Lance I cant remember the exact quote or what it was written in ..., But I do know  somewhere Mark Twain wrote ., "If we are good while we are alive., When we die God will let us be pirates" or something like that....., I gotta find it
I know your a pirate already..., perhaps you just dont know it yet ?

Rich, another great pic, i like a good game so i'll try and help find that quote about pirates. well i might be a Pirate, but since i don't drink that can only mean one thing............. i'd have to be my favorite Pirate of all: Bartholomew Roberts, the most ruthless and successful of all,actually he was kinda cool :)
