Probably from Ed at Ed's TCs a GBO Sponsor. See his banner on the TC Handgun Forum or click the link to him on the GBO Home Page.

Pay NO ATTENTION to the site it's not been updated since December 2005. Call Ed or e-mail him and tell him what you want. I can't be sure but I'd "almost bet" he'll have it.

You can get several different styles of forends for the contender at www.gunstocksinc.com
They make the original contender forend also but you have to ask for them.

I didn't think about GSI but they too are GBO Sponsors and good folks to deal with. I think tho they only sell partially finished wood that requires at least some work to complete but then I just don't check their site often enough as I should to be sure what all they do have. I'm a bit of a cluntz and not much of a wood worker but have been tempted to get one of their stocks to try my hand at. I did a stock once that turned out quite nicely but had access to a lot of wood working equipment then I don't have now. I've been known to mess up even simple refinishing jobs.  :o

I just finished one of their Contender stock sets (thumbhole, walnut) and it came out great.  I had it made an inch longer than standard, and had them add a Limbsaver pad.  They were great to work with and have a good product at a fair price.

I had Jim in Georgia make me a forearm for a contender.  I got the unfinished walnut. I only stained it and sealed it against weather.  He has a website.  Type james@olegeorgiajim.com.  Or you can try a contender forearm search.  I would recommend highly.
