Browning 1885 BPLC in 45-70

Browning 1885 BPLC in 45-70 ,1 in 18 twist 30"bl  Question Can i expect any problems shooting smokeless with jacketed,or smokless with cast in this gun.? with accuracy i mean .The gun is around $1200 so i don"t want to be restricted to BP only

These are not what I call problems but you might.
Lead bullets can lead or give poor accuracy if they are not large enough in diameter or if they are shot at a velocity too fast for the alloy hardness.
Properly sized lead bullet can give excellent accuracy.
Long jacketed bullets might have to be seated deep due to the short leade
but this is a single shot so crimping is not needed. With jacketed bullets this rifle should shoot better than you can see.

Remember if you load some hot rod rounds for your Browning  don't let them get into a Trapdoor.

You can definitely shoot all the smokeless you want in the 1885 Browning! The 1-18" twist will shoot better with heavy bullets, than with light, but even 300-360 grain bullets wont shoot badly. I have the same twist in my Ballard, and it shoots the heavy bullets great, but I still get groups under 3" at 100 yds, with 300 gr cast lead bullets. My loadings are about 1200 fps at the muzzle, with smokeless powders.
