Well, almost everything is packed, and I'm buying the fresh food tomorrow. I'm leaving home tomorrow afternoon to spend the night at one guys' home for an early start thursday morning. We'll spend thursday traveling, spend the night in Kapuskasing head north to our hunting ground, set up camp and scout on friday, for the saturday opener.

We're 6 old f*rts with both a bull and a cow tag and very high hopes.

I'll check back in when we get back after the 22nd (or sooner if we connect early).

I measured a 185 4/8 bull at an outdoor show on sunday, and can't help thinking he'd look awfully good on my wall.

was invited up to terrace bay this year to go hunting (a bull tag 2) but dont have the vacation time to go...but couple of buddie and i are thinkin about applying up in the thunder bay district next year, so will have to see what happens.  just gonna be a weekend calf hunter again this year.
