RECOIL PAD INFO: NEEDED

i would like to change the stock recoil pad on the Cinnamon stock I have for my 06 any one were I can purchase the older type recoil pad they look like black hard plastic type.The length of pull is too long for me with the stock recoil pad.

 Your talking about the hard plastic butt plates found on most .22's, right?

Brownells has a vast supply of "pads & plates".

YEP; i HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE WITH A 1/2 RUBBER RECOIL PAD I DON'T WANT TO CUT THE STOCK BECAUSE I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE LAMINATED WILL TAKE TO A TUNG OIL FINISH

For what your going to spend for a good recoil pad you may be able to get a youth lam. butt stock from H&R with a pad installed , that will shorten the LOP by about 1"or less . just an idea .

Looks like I will be fitting a new recoil pad I just ordered a new 1/2" thick Pachmayer basket face recoil pad
