I can hardly wait to hear Tim's reply but I am seriously thinking of one on the .218 Bee project. Are they too high? Midway only shows them in one height (High). They are Not cheap but my second option is some sort (Warne or maybe Leupold if they make one) QR setup so I could use opens in inclement weather and that isn't cheap either. Once again looking for opinions. If you know of any other QR set up and where is the best place to buy a picatiny scope base let me know. I'm just learning and researching stuff on these fine single shot rifles. It keeps me busy and my mind off other things.Thanks in advance for your valued advise. - F50

They only come in high, but with the hammer clearance issue with most scopes, it's good. I'm not keen on em, but those that have tried em, like em.  All of the scope base options are listed in the FAQs.
