New Ultra..........
« on: September 08, 2007, 01:14:58 PM »
Got a new Ultra .243 today, shot it some, seems o.k. but the trigger is stout!
I need to play with it a little and see if I can do something about the trigger but I think it'll be a keeper.
I've been handiless for 4 months, feels pretty good to have one back.

Look in the FQA section for the info on a trigger job. Good luck to you with it. Dale

Sounds good blucollar, just remember that triggers will get smoother after a hundred shoots or so.My receiver has been in use for 16 years and 2 barrels and after more than 2 thousand rounds is just right,so if you do any polishing on parts don't over do it.
