I have had a Daly 45 for a couple of years now and feel it was a very good buy for the money. It had alway shot very well, but now a problem as popped up. I have been keeping 6 rounds in both mags and using it as a home defence weapon. My problem is that the last time I did some practice, both mags stovepiped on the 5th round, after reloading both mags, again they stovepiped on the 5 round. Are the mag springs becomming weak while being stored with 6 rounds? Will a better brand of mags fix this problem? Colt mags? or another brand? My friends say I should give up on autos as defence guns and stick with revolvers. Any ideas on my stovepipe problem? Any coments on the Daly 45 in general?
Thanks,Bill Ossipee,NH
