recommendations on disc for atv
« on: September 25, 2007, 05:08:45 PM »
I'm looking on the internet for a small disc for my atv.  In the past, we have had a farmer who would disc up our plots for us.  Well, the last couple of years he hasn't done it for some reason.  He is a friend of my hunting partners dad so I honestly don't know what the deal is.  We currently need to start a couple of more plots because of some of our land being "traded" since last season.  Will you all please give me some suggestions on small, reasonably priced discs that can be pulled behind an atv?  I've only got a Kawasaki bayou250 but my partner has a new 660 Yamaha grizzly I think.  So, pulling it, for him at least, shouldn't be a problem.  Thanks, Greg

There are a few choices you can look into,Kolpin, summit, plotmule, and some others have ATV disc, and all are very rugged and capable pieces of equipment.IMO the only real draw back to them is their weight, you really need some heft to cut through thick overgrowth,so make sure you can get a model that you could add weight to.
beer,check ammo,check gun,DAMMIT,I knew I forgot somethin!!
