Have any of you tried the 30 grain berger bullets from your 22 hornet handis?how do they shoot? im currently using the famous 13gr lil gun and 35 gr v-max load, I have shot groundhogs with this combo out to around 250 yards, with holdover of course, but Im thinking the better BC of the berger will shoot a bit flatter. Do they fragment anywhere near as much as the v-max.?
thanks

Sorry I can't answer your question because I do not reload yet. I can say this though the VMax bulletes in my opion are superb!!!!!!!!!!! I used them in the 32 grain 204 and the 58 grain in the 243. Both do their job beyond great. When I start reloading I plan on using Hornady bullets alot. Thats just me though. I feel they are some of the best if not the best out there and I have shot a ton of factory ammo. Dale

I shot some in a 22-250, they made 4,600fps, but the BC was bad compared to the 40gr bullets and I had trouble with groups. They are mostly all jacket, same length as a 40gr bullet, just no lead in it. Larry
