At my local shop today
« on: September 19, 2007, 01:42:04 PM »

I went down there looking for a .223. I needed to trade in something else cause the safe is full and I have to make room. The shop couldn't accept trade in's because he's moving in a few weeks. He did say he could order a .223 Bull barrel with a wood stock for me for $269. not too bad I'm thinking.

I also looked at a few other Handi's they had in stock. Both a .243 combo and a .22/.410 combo. I was surprised to find that both had really good triggers. Better in fact than my .30-30 which I always thought was good.

I also got to look at the barrel on the .22/.410 versa pak. It really a strange looking little rifle with the chamber off center in the barrel. I wish they would sell a rimfire barrel like that.
