Going scouting new country today.
« on: September 15, 2007, 03:07:16 AM »
I'm headed out to a county I've not trapped in.Good coyote and cat country.Got an Antelope tag for the area so it will be a "Goat" scouting trip.Going to try and lineup permission to trap there.
I love the smell of coyote gland lure early in the morning. It smells like victory!!

Shucks Yotero  you wont be able to sleep much and you will be looking to tune up more traps and add doubles of this and that plus get trapping vehicle in good shape  for season.  High lift jack, tire patch kit, good spare, extra linemans pliers, wire,  extra this and that.   Check to make sure the fur stretchers are in good shape, knives sharpened.   Awww  heck i just end there, too much more to think about ....LOL... good luck , Whoops forgot start compressing those trap springs setting so your hands  and wrists wont  bind up on ya  second day going..... been there done that and   have a bottle of tylenol handy...LOL>
