Back in the late 80s early 90s we lived in Eagle River, up on Sky Line Dr. The wife drove a Jeep Scrambler then, and our youngest son was just an infant. One morning she came out of the house with the baby and open the passengers door and put the baby in the car seat. She put the diaper bag, and her purse on the floor, then closed the door. She walked around the Jeep, and there lye a Cow Moose on the ground, leaning against the front tire. Panic time.
She ran around the front of the Jeep, jerked the door open, unsnapped the seat belt, taking car seat, with kid attached and headed for the house. She went to screaming when she came through the door. Our teenager came running to her aid. She called her office to explain why she could not come in. Their reply was (Yea Right!) They did not believe her. The older boy, 15 at the time, took a Polaroid and went through the garage and took a picture of the Moose.
After two hours and the Moose not moving, the teenager went out a slipped into the passengers door on the Jeep. He started the Jeep expecting her to jump up, she just laid there. He backed the Jeep away from her and then drove it into the garage. She never moved. Wife loaded baby back into the Jeep, then left for work. When I came home two hours later she was gone.
