Best bait I have found for Fisher is Beaver fleshings.   Several lures will do the trick !  By far my favorite is Gusto then Magnum Marten or GHII.  Fisher tend to hunt the edge where the pines meet hardwoods.  Ridges that connect hunting area's are also productive use the breeze to your advantage.

Many Fisher have been caught in a simple dirt hole.  A 1-3/4 trap is adequate in most instances.  In a area where there is no risk of Domestic animals I favor the 160 body-grip  guarding a cubby.  A Fisher is almost always hungry and fearless in working a set !!

there are a large number of  coyotes  in the fields below my house. there is a green belt around  the fields that i was planning to use as a place to set traps and i was wondering what would be the best way to go about it.

Hi all,
Where do sell your furs?? My son wants to trap raccoons and I was wondering how to go about selling them and the steps needed to get the hides ready to sell.  Thanks Kevin

At Egg Island in Great Bay (South Jersey)If, There is a full moon and the wind is Nor-east at 20 kt.
1-How high will the tide rise above Med-high water mark ?
2- Will the tide be higher at night or in the day ?
3-Usually how long will a Nor-east wind blow ?

Not sure where you are at so that will make a difference what the buyers you have available. Here in WI where I'm at I have two local buyers I can use. Groenewold also has a stop near here where I can sell to him on the truck. Myself I sell some furs locally but ship all my coon to NAFA.
I believe both Groenewold and NAFA have on their web site information on how to handle fur for sale. If you have a local buyer ask him how he prefers to buy ie'  unskinned, skinned, or put up. If you don't have a local buyer you may have to put up everything and ship it. You can also check the web sites and see if Groenewold or NAFA have pick up sites in your area.
Hope this helps
Good luck
