Air rifle power
« on: June 28, 2007, 12:40:47 PM »
I shoot a gamo silver shadow 1000 supreme. I have had this rifle for 2 years and have put around 20,000 rounds through it. Over time i have noticed a loss in power. It used to be able to easily go through sheet metal from 30 yards now it goes through 3 of 10 times. anybody had the same problem?

With that much shooting your spring could be getting tired.  They all do eventually. New springs can be installed but it might be wise to have a professional do it.  Have you contacted Gamo or its service center?  Seals could be worn too.

Good luck.
