Muzzleloader deer - y'all ready?
« on: October 12, 2007, 02:21:38 AM »
Can't focus on anything this morning here...got deer on the brain. Less than 24 hours to go.

You folks all ready? What are you using?

I'll be out there with a 50cal T/C Omega, iron sights, 250gr Hornady sabot in front of 2 pellets of Triple 7.

Good thing it finally cooled down around here, eh? With the recent high temps, would've been out there on the stand in my speedo. :)

Good luck to all and safe hunting.

Revo,

I like it when the early in line season comes in. I don't own an in line and probably never will. I don't have anything against the guys who use 'em, I just prefer using a sidelock, and I wait until the PA flintlock season. But the in line guys will get out there and move a few deer around and that may give me better odds at arrowing a buck.

So, keep huntin! And good luck. It's good to be out in the woods no matter what your carrying.

The Encore strikes again.  150gr Pinnacle + Barnes 250gr TMZ = success.
