The grizzly was made by LAR, and is no longer in production.

Nowadays, if you are looking for a semi auto magnum pistol, most people look to desert eagle.  If you are looking for 44 mag power in a 1911, the 460 rowland conversion is what you need.

You may still be able to find a LAR grizzly on guns america or the like.

It's a good gun but i like a 454 revolver in my hands(i had one and will always love that cal.)  he had one and i have never seen one in real life. also in most places you have to have only 6 in a mag feed gun so it with it's 9 rounds mags is a no-no.

Are you talking about the 44 mag in an auto or the old 44 auto mag cartridge?

the grizzly is a 1911 that shoots the 44mag cartridge just like the DESERT EAGLE.
