10/22 carbine
« on: September 15, 2007, 04:34:08 AM »
I picked up a 10/22 carbine at the pawn shop yesterday for $80 , it is kinda rough but nothing a little time on the cleaning mat wont fix. While cleaning it I noticed that on the side  of the barrel it has stamped  " Made In The 200th Year Of American Liberty" was wondering if this is some kind of anniversary edition or just something Ruger does ? This is my first 10/22 so just getting my feet wet .

I heard that they did that to all the 1976 barrels and guns .....I THINK they made a special edition with a stock that had a round emblem with the 200th year and special box.......but I may be wrong on that......hth..good luck and good shooting!!
