They are one of, if not "the" nicest Nagants ever produced !
I have one that is in the condition you described. Exactly like the one you described.
A 1934 Tikka with all matching numbers. It is a heavy chrome lined barrel. They apparently are one of the rarer Mosins to find in this country. These were snapped up by hunters and competitors
in Finland. That is why we see so few. I probably have not fired mine 20 times in the 20 or so years I have had it. $800.00 seems steep to me, but in all honesty, I do not know if I would sell mine for that. They are just too hard to replace in a collection. I paid over $150.00 for mine over 20 years ago. (I Keep all my receipts). I will try to post some pics, it really is a nice rifle.
