Older encore
« on: September 25, 2007, 01:35:26 AM »
I have a older 50 cal. encore and have shot 2 pellets with decent results but would loose powder work better.I read where early encores would crush pellets because of breech design .
I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

I have shot both pellets and loose in the older Encore breech plug designs with great results, but if you are worried about the older breech plug design, you can buy and new one to replace the older version. But I would not worry about it unless you have shot the old breech plug out.  JMO  ;D
