Not too much of a story except getting out there this morning and getting lucky. Went out to my stand in the most heavily rubbed area, by sneaking through the corn to get by the feeding area. Climbed up in my stand about 6:20 and shot him at about 7 am. It's been a lucky past 4 seasons now. Well I guess I'll have to go to Wisconsin in november.

Nice buck!
You don't have to go out of state to continue bowhunting. If you check with the DNR or your regulations handbook, you'll see there are other zones in the state that allow intensive harvest permits. I'm up in northern MN, but one year went down to Rochester and had the opportunity to get 3 additional tags there.
Congratulations!

Great deer! I'd be really happy with a buck like that. I got a doe that Saturday evening, so at least I've got some meat in the freezer now. Of course, I'm in the intensive harvest zone, so I get to shoot some more.
