New Grips
« on: March 09, 2008, 10:55:06 AM »
Well, I had to have something to do while I was recuperating.  Since I took the stag grips off the New Vaquero and put them on the Gaucho, I needed some grips for the NV.  I just couldn't bring myself to put the black plastic stockers back on.  So I went ahead and scrimshawed a new set.  Something that tells everyone this is my gun.  So what better to do that than a nice self-portrait!  Don't know as it is a perfect likeness, but I think you can figure out who it is.  The top picture is the 'new and improved' (25 lbs lighter) me, and the bottom is the 'Old' me.  Course I guess i'm still 'Old'!  44 Man

Wrinkles?  What wrinkles?  Oh, do you mean those 'character lines'?  Hee hee.  That's the great thing about the self portrait.  I seems to look more like what I want to see than what I do see.  Of course, it could just be my mirror.  Maybe the handle is on backwards or something!  44 Man
