« on: October 01, 2007, 03:59:59 PM »
In a recent post I see that some of the guys have sent their Rifles back to the company to have them rebarrled or restocked ,upgraded and such.Does anyone care to comment on that experiance ??I have one in 30-30 that I would love to have an octagon Bbl.and maybe even a calibre change done.

Bob Allen,

I had a 30-30 336CS made into a 38-55 just by barrel replacement and they added a 38-55 type of stock.  But you just can't send a rifle in a ask for a caliber change.  It has to be what  they have in stock.  You need to call them first and asked what they can do for you and if at all possible.  They are real nice people.  It cost me $300 to convert a 30-30 into a 38-55.  I also sent them a .375 Marlin to be refurbished with new blue, and stocks put whatever else it needed and cost me $335 plus shipping.  Everything with them is plus shipping.  Hope this helps.
