Posting pictures

Could anyone tell me how to take a picture I have in "My pictures" and post it here or on another site? I've got M.E. program and I.E. browser. I'm still learnin how to ride this computer thing! I'm sure you have answered this too many times already, but I would be gratefull if you would humour me.

It's pretty simple to post pictures, but it takes a lot of steps to get there. Once you know those steps it's simple to do..  I'll give a general rundown and then point you to a detailed posting here on Graybeards,

Your pictures must be in a digital format.  They must be posted some where on the internet either on a website or a photo hosting site.  You copy the photo's internet address or link and paste it in your message here...and your photo appears
