Not positive on the 26" barrel, but works great on my 24" barrel. But then every barrel is an individual, that is why there is quite a bit of elevation adjustment built into the ramp.
Can't imagine there would be that much difference in the sighting plane at 100 yards or under. Williams has a formula to figure out the height of sights for tapered barrels on page 18 of their 2006 Catalog, not sure what page of the 2007 Catalog, but you can find it on their site. You could call them on their toll-free and talk to a real person too.
