375 JDJ
« on: October 01, 2007, 04:40:16 PM »
I have four boxes of 375 JDJ brass that I would like to have reloaded. I'am not interested in learning how to reload so I am looking for someone or a company that does this.  Thanks in advance...

There are a few complications:

1)
I believe that manufacturing ammunition for someone else to use requires a type of license, perhaps from BATFE. Be sure to check this out before loading ammo for another person who will be paying for the service.

2)
If I were the one doing the reloading, it would cost you less to go out and buy factory ammo than to pay me to reload your brass.

3)
There are plenty of reloaders that aren't worth trusting to do a good job. I regularly see slop work from reloaders. Don't risk it unless you can get good references.

Yes there are. Who does .375 JDJ I'm not sure. Contact GBO Sponsor Ron Reed and see if he is set up to do so. He has all the proper licenses and insurance and such as that's his business. I just don't know if he does that round or not.

One of GB sponsors SSK Industries is the home of JDJ.  Check their website as to the availability of loaded ammo.

What is preventing YOU from reloading the ammo? It's not THAT hard to run the brass thru a sizer ,reprime it. Dump in a charge of powder, then install a bullet in The case. When you shoot some thing with YOUR reloads you will feel like a king!  You can modify your loads for targets or elephants. You can get started for less than the 4 boxes of NEW ammo usually. I used a LEE classic kit(all hand work with a Mallet) to load MY first box of 6mm. Now I have about 40 sets of dies and 3 presses. I know if I can do it any one can.
Besides ,I don't trust just anyone with MY ammo!

As usual, Jhalcott is the voice of reason here. Why didn't I think of that? Reloading is easy to do and doesn't cost much to get into if you are not planning to load in high volumes. Figure a one-time expense of a few hundred dollars, plus ongoing expenses for components.
