ah yes- fishdaddy- I'd never dare tell YOU how to trap coyotes- after all, you got it down.

please, detail your experiences. Lots of pics would help.

the opinion thing was a joke, if you aren't old enough to get it, such is life.....

and btw- when I started trapping- I listened. I didn't tell the oldtimers how to do it. Now, after 50 plus years trapping, I DO have opinions. If you don't want to listen- don't. But I would think that opinions garnered from trapping partime all my life, and for a living the past decade, would make those opinions worth listening to.

Or, you can keep doing what you are doing.

as i stated in my post i dont have a lot of experience at trapping coyotes.and if running someone down just cause you catch more coyotes than them makes your life more meaningful. then you go for it. i have nothing to prove to you or anuelse i just was wondering how many coyotes you have to catch befor you are allowed to have an opinion?

this has gotten a little silly running who down? this is exactly the type of childish stuff that got your booted off of CRU.

if someone can't defend their opinion without getting bent out of shape- it can't be much of one to begin with.

when supply dealers are taken to task, when book writer are likewise simply because i recommened a BEGINNER COYOTE TRAPPER THAT NEVER TRIED OR CAUGHT A COYOTE BEFORE try reading a book or two... good grief!

sorry- you never made one post on the NTA, nor I doubt had much knowledge of it.

you were banned for your repeated posts that looked like they were made by a 10 year old. CRU isn't for kids posts- and you were warned and warned- and finally you were booted.

heres some advice- say no to drugs, stay in school.

chato- LOL- you really are a pip, aren't you.

OK Guys, lets cut out the slams and get back to what we are all here for--talking about trapping--I said talking--not fighting.what happens on other forums should stay there.I have been very happy with the lack of petty bickering on here, lets keep it that way.
If you must vent--take it to PM's.
This forum has always been a little different than the other trapping forums, not a lot of off topic Items and not a lot of fighting. While this has kept the number of members down, those that used it could expect to come in here without worry of getting slammed on---again--lets keep it that way.
I have never exiled anyone from this forum--I am rather proud of that fact. Please guys--lighten up, we have better things to talk about.
 Tom

fishdaddy, you catch one you should be proud. they are not like coons or beaver...a relatively "captive" audience that do not range too far from their homes and leave a lot of obvious sign with trails, feeding areas, toilets, etc.
I am not an expert, and don't want to be one either. Most years I only get one maybe two dozen coyotes. Best year was 45...but I caught about that same number of coons and possums each in very same sets so which one was I really targeting???
Who cares...it was fun!
Jim

I'll listen to everyone's opinion Fishdaddy and belittle no one. I don't know it all even if I have been coyote trapping over 50 years. No doubt greater minds than mine are up and coming every day. Ace
