Here's the raw, unedited video, my Windws Movie Maker program still doesn't work correctly so I can't edit it as usual.  There's some description in the you-tube "description" part you can read.  The four mortars near the camera, from left, are a repro M1861 8", an original M1861 8", a repro M1841 8", and a repro (?) US 24 pdr. Coehorn mortar made of bronze.  You can hear it ring like a bell when it fires.

What is really neat about the Ft Shenadoah is the size of that firing line.  It has to be in excess of 400 yards long.  And it is lined with mortars.  Go back to the video and listen to it.  The rolling thunder of mortar fire!!  Thanks John for providing it.
