Iowa DNR website is your source for help.  I don't think there is a magazine maximum for the type of game you can hunt with an AR-15, such as fox, coyote . better check on others.
Hope you have a .22 for the small game.

already checked the website, nothing is said about mag capacity on any species of animal., i got a phone number ill call my local officer and ask him.and yes i have a .22, but for varmints and small game around the yard and in my farm fields, sometimes a 223 gets the job done better. thanks anyways for trying to help me

I have never been aware of a magazine limit  except for migratory fowl.
Best wishes,  :)
