Jacket sourse
« on: October 11, 2007, 12:31:00 PM »
I have been looking for a source for 6mm and 7mm jackets. Any help would be appreciated.

The huge sources are J-4 and Sierra (when they feel like it). Otherwise is it pretty iffy. Speer and Hornady and others have sold jackets but don't hold your breath. Corbin (corbins.com) is getting into the business and with smaller bags (250) if that matters. His brother Richard (rceco.com) has equipment to make jackets. Then there is Butch Harrilson... Richard can direct you. He is "setting up" and what he might have in stock is also iffy. Bruno is one of the best, if they are not out and if they are out, most others will be also.

Ebay was a decent source. But they quit. Virg. Tech shooter bought a clip there... (???)

Other "gun auctions" are options. And you can make jackets out of rim fire cases. 6mm for sure. 7mm awful light. Varmints. Or fired cases... Little short... Luck.
