Sorry , not much help for you, mine are all " out of the box accurate " at least for the most part.  All my frames were used, all have trigger pulls in the 3 # range and crisp....I assume someone did some trigger work to them.  All I did was work up loads and shoot them !   Hope you have better luck with other responses..............mike

I agree with irold,  Mine was accurate out of the box.  It took some time and experimenting with loads and mine will shoot sub 1/2" from a bench.

What are you shooting out it?  Bullets? Powder? etc.

Mine likes 150gr bullets over H4895 using neck sized brass.

Concentrate on the front sight (handguns), breath control, trigger control.

I guess I will toss out a few things here.  My -06 barrel was accurate (1" @ 100 yrds) out of the box but by simply folding over some electrical tape four times and using it as a spacer between the fore arm and barrel (make two spacers and put a hole in them so the fore arm screws can go through.) it immediately went to 1/2" groups.  A very popular was is to use the Hanger bar system which is a piece of steel that attaches to your barrel at the screw holes then has only one hole in it to attach the for arm.  Supposed to even out the pressure on the barrel.  Mine shoots in the .3's.

Also, pay very close attention when you make your loads.  Seat the bullets out a little. if your throat will let you.

My best tip for "accurizing" a T/C is to use handloads. My .12" 44mag puts one nice ragged hole @50yds for as many as I can hold still for, when I'm not all jacked on caffeine of course. Firelapping also works great, never needed to do that for my T/C's though.

I would agree. Handloads and a good trigger would be on the top of my list.
