Where Can I Learn The "Mental" Aspects Of Shooting?
« on: October 06, 2007, 01:00:04 AM »
Hello,

Later I'd like to make a post or two asking questions here about the mental side of accurate shooting.  For now I'm looking for books, videos, etc, that will teach me more about the mental side of accurate shooting.

Can you please point out some good books or videos(prefer videos) on these issues?  I just watched a video on long range shooting that helps in the aspect of hunting, but it never really covered anything on the mental game involved.

While I seek this info to be a better marksman for hunting, I can easily see myself developing that habit of hunting long range bullseyes.  ;)

Any info you can offer as to some good videos or perhaps books, etc, I'd be thankful.

I get a catalog from an outfit called 'Creedmore Sports'.  They have books and DVDs on the physical and mental aspects of the game.  I'm sure you could find them on their website.

There are several. Wish I could point you to good long range rifle info, but my interest is pistol, which has some different aspects to it. You can't go wrong by starting with Lannie Basham's book "With Winning In Mind"

Champions Choice is a good outfit and I have been a customer of theirs for years.
