I bought a Marlin 717 mach 2 about a mounth ago was haveing trouble with it sent it in to marlin just over a week ago and got it back already soon as i got home from work my wife told me my gun was back and it was almost dark and filled the clip full of ammo steped out the front door and emptyed the clip not a jam one seems to work like it should O i live out in the country   but i cant get over how fast they got it fixed and back to me i give Marlin AAA+++ on customer service

I just had one blow up on me, so If i were you , i would put some bore paste or flitz, in the receiver, and on sides of bolt, and manyually operate about 1 jillion times.  either that , or make sure you clean it about every 50 rounds, for about 500.  then you will proly be a bit safer.

Sorry, but i'm kinda dumb.  Why would that keep it from blowing up?
